Extra Mayo!

I’ve become a frequent visitor to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and have had countless wonderful experiences with staff and members of the community.

The Mayo website is a great resource for trip planning and what to expect from a patient and caregiver perspective.

Given my experience in town, I thought it would be fun to provide a first person account of traveling to Rochester. I just booked my late spring trip for follow-up tests to keep an eye on how my body is dealing with microscopic colitis and sarcoidosis, along with a diabetes tune-up.

I’ll post updates here as well as our Instagram account: evergreen_adventures_mt . The “extra mayo” series should include some entertainment and information about the hospital and town.
