Connections & Adventures
My wife and I founded EverGreen in the fall of 2022 to form connections and facilitate adventures for the chronic illness community and their caregivers. Our 501 c3 designated corporation is developing strategic partnerships to advance our organizational priorities, which includes our gear loan program, community and virtual meetups, and outdoor scholarships. Big Agnes and Crazy Mountain Outdoor Company of Bozeman recently donated four 32L packs to jumpstart our gear program, which I wrote about in a previous blog post.
If you would like to donate financial support or your expertise to EverGreen, please contact us through our website or on Instagram: evergreen_adventures_mt.
Gear loan program: Our donated Big Agnes 32L packs can be loaned to anyone in need; whether you live in Bozeman, MT or are visiting the countless outdoor options around the area. We are aiming to add new or gently used backpacking tents, sleeping bags, cooking gear, and fly fishing equipment to our program.
Community and Virtual Events: We host coffee shop meetups, fly tying and casting instruction, art classes, meditation and yoga sessions, trail running instruction, and virtual support sessions. Our vision is to host our events at little or no cost to attendees. Have a skill you would like to teach or space to offer for a session? Please send us a message!
Scholarship Program: Our long-term vision is to establish camps and retreats focusing on opportunities for outdoor adventure and artistic expression. Our scholarship program will offset costs associated with attending camps for those with chronic illnesses or their caregivers. Do you have an interest or expertise in the grant writing or fundraising process? We would appreciate connecting and exchanging ideas!
