Welcome to EverGreen Adventures!

We are excited to welcome you to the community of EverGreen Adventures! This community was sparked through the love of the outdoors, and the challenge of living with and caring for someone with a chronic illness. We are a non-profit corporation, focused on leveraging the outdoors as an outlet to manage the mental and physical impacts of life with a chronic illness.

I’m Jonathan, one of the co-founders. I was diagnosed with Type I diabetes as a child and recently had my colon removed due to autoimmune complications related to sarcoidosis and colitis. Those are big medical terms, what does that all mean? I can relate to those of you dealing with a chronic illness and all that goes along with it. Our goal is to educate, inform, and advocate.

My wife and co-founder Tara brings the experience and knowledge of a caregiver. In our view the impact to caregivers and loved ones can sometimes be overlooked, so her focus will be including her experiences in all we do as an organization.

We love the outdoors and are based out of Bozeman, MT. The vision for EverGreen was refined in the outdoors and will serve as a foundation for many of our projects.
