EverGreen Announces Charity Hockey Game

Bozeman, MT - Three Bozeman area nonprofits have joined forces to raise awareness and funding for their respective organizations and to bring an age-old rivalry to Haynes Pavilion. The inaugural Frozen Frontline charity hockey game will take place on March 24 at 4pm, with the Bozeman Police Department squaring off against the Bozeman Fire Department.

100% of proceeds from the game are donated to three nonprofits; the Bozeman Police Foundation, Bozeman Firefighters International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) L613 Benevolent Fund, and EverGreen Adventures.

Teams include current and former officers and firefighters, as well as hospital staff and others with ties to the first responder community.

“The police and fire rivalry is a perfect storyline for friendly competition and camaraderie, not to mention a fun way to raise money for three outstanding Bozeman area nonprofits,” said Jonathan Stewart, Frozen Frontline founder and executive director of EverGreen Adventures.

Teamwork is important, whether you’re fighting fires or protecting the community, and Frozen Frontline hockey is no exception.

“We are excited to get on the ice and have a great time with other first responders! This community has some of the best, and we are excited to see their skills on the ice as well. The Frozen Frontline game is offering a chance for three nonprofits with great missions to showcase what we do in a fun and meaningful way,” said Brian Foreman, president of the Bozeman Police Foundation.

“Joining forces with the Bozeman Police Foundation and Bozeman Firefighters IAFF L613 is a privilege. Together, we have refined the vision for the game and collaborated to advance our respective missions to benefit our community,” Stewart added.

The game is open to the public, with a suggested entry donation of $5.
